Since 2010, London Contemporary Voices has been at the forefront of shaping modern choral singing; bringing choirs to new audiences and expanding one of the oldest art forms in new innovative ways.

LCV has modernised the idea of the choir; it attracts a new type of musician and works with the modern music industry; and it reaches a younger mainstream audience through its work with over 100 artists, including 18 Grammy winners and nominees. LCV has worked across the arts, with dancers, circus artists, DJs, comedians, beatboxers, magicians, film-makers, drag queens, electronic engineers and visual artists to deliver unique performances and imaginative ways of presenting choirs. LCV has been a champion of using social media for choir; reaching out globally with its successful YouTube channel and media campaigns, and gaining exposure through its work with popular brands such as Topshop, Burberry, Selfridges, Facebook, BuzzFeed and YouTube.
LCV has created a thriving community of over 150 incredible singers from over 17 different countries and from diverse musical backgrounds spanning classical, jazz, folk, pop and urban; it provides performance opportunities, CV development and a supportive peer network for early-career musicians, professional musicians and excellent amateur singers alike.
LCV provides access to the music industry, working with artists who are just starting out as well as multi-platinum acts such as U2, Sam Smith and Florence & The Machine. LCV supports its singers' own artistic endeavours with guidance and practical facilitation, and supports musical initiatives in hard-to-reach communities, such as our current Arts-Council-funded work in care homes and our work with Imogen Heap for the Royal London Society for Blind People.
